License model
What is currently available
BILLEVO Standard is currently available as a local desktop app with a Windows download and macOS downloads for Apple Silicon and Intel. Premium, web app, sync, voice, AI and tags are on the roadmap and not part of the Standard release.
Are roadmap features unlocked automatically
No. An active Standard license does not automatically grant Premium access. Roadmap features are released separately once they are production-ready.
Does Standard renew automatically
No. BILLEVO Standard is a one-time purchase with no automatic recurring charge. The buy page explains the checkout via Lemon Squeezy, the BILLEVO license email and activation.
Can I already buy Premium
No. For the current release, Standard is the available product. Premium is communicated as roadmap only.
Platform & technology
Which systems does BILLEVO run on
The public 3.7.0 download includes the Windows installer and macOS ZIP files for Apple Silicon and Intel. A web app is on the roadmap and not part of the current Standard release.
Do I need a constant internet connection
Not for the standard workflows. BILLEVO is designed offline-first: invoices, quotes, receipts, expenses and reports stay usable locally. Online access is needed for the website, downloads, support, license activation or optional services.
Is there desktop/web sync
Not yet as an active Standard feature. Desktop/web sync is on the roadmap and will only be enabled once local data storage and permissions are properly secured.

How is my data protected
BILLEVO Standard is designed locally. Website, support, license and optional online services are documented transparently in the privacy policy.
Is BILLEVO oriented to GoBD
BILLEVO Standard provides traceable structures, exports and logging. It does not replace a legal or tax review.
Which exports are available
CSV exports, DATEV file exports and ZUGFeRD-capable invoices. Exported data should be reviewed before being passed on to bookkeeping, tax advisors or authorities.
Language & brand
Can BILLEVO be used in English
Yes. The app supports German and English for the interface, templates and local email drafts. The public billevo.de website is available in German and English.
Can I customize templates to my brand
Yes. Logo, color, font and tone of voice are customizable. Premium will bring additional flexibility for brand customization.

Is BILLEVO suitable for small businesses
BILLEVO is aimed at the self-employed, freelancers and small businesses who want to manage invoices, quotes, expenses and receipts locally. Special tax cases should be reviewed professionally before use.
Can I write invoices with BILLEVO without Word or Excel
Yes. Customer data, line items, amounts, payment terms and PDF output run in a structured invoice workflow. More on the Write an invoice page.
Is BILLEVO invoicing software without a subscription
BILLEVO Standard is planned as a one-time purchase: 30-day trial, then a single payment of 49 euros, no automatic recurring charge. Details on the Buy BILLEVO and No-subscription invoicing pages.
Updates & roadmap
Do I get free updates
Security and stability updates are a given. Larger feature updates are announced separately; the next major update brings the redesign and several new workflows.
