# BILLEVO

> BILLEVO is local-first invoicing and billing software for the German market, sold as a one-time purchase (€99, no subscription) for Windows and macOS. It helps self-employed people, freelancers and small businesses create invoices, quotes, delivery notes, purchase orders and e-invoices (ZUGFeRD, XRechnung, Factur-X) while keeping all data in a local database on the user's own device. ## What BILLEVO is

- Desktop invoicing software (Electron app) for Windows 10 or newer (64-bit) and macOS 12 or newer (Intel and Apple Silicon), signed installers. A separate legacy build exists for macOS 10.15 to 11.
- One-time purchase: €99 including the first company. Additional companies cost €49 each, or €299 for unlimited companies (existing customers upgrade for the €200 difference). No subscription, no monthly fees. 30-day free trial with the full feature set, 14-day money-back guarantee.
- Local-first: data lives in a local SQLite database on the user's machine. No forced cloud. GoBD-oriented. Backups, import/export and an audit log are part of the architecture. Daily work runs offline; the internet is only needed for purchase, license checks, updates and optional online services.
- Prepared for e-invoicing: create, receive and archive e-invoices. Supports ZUGFeRD, Factur-X and XRechnung; the original XML stays visible; Leitweg-ID supported.
- Made for self-employed people, freelancers and small businesses, including small businesses under the German §19 UStG (Kleinunternehmer) rule. Not enterprise accounting software.
- Also available in the Microsoft Store and the Mac App Store.
- Developed by Kristian Kiel in Hamburg, Germany (sole developer). Support comes directly from the developer, in German or English.

- Invoices (proforma to final invoice), quotes, order confirmations, delivery notes
- Purchase orders to suppliers with purchase prices, own number range and PDF (since 3.7.13; purchase orders created from a quote since 3.8.2)
- Recurring invoices (generated as drafts for review, no unattended auto-sending)
- Dunning / payment reminders with manual control, switchable late-payment interest
- E-invoicing: ZUGFeRD, Factur-X, XRechnung; incoming invoices with visible original XML
- Receipt import with local OCR (photo or PDF), expenses, payment matching from bank files (CSV, MT940, CAMT.053)
- Customers, items/products with simple stock, time tracking
- Reports and DATEV export (SKR03/SKR04, audit CSV, CSV, PDF) to hand over to a tax advisor
- Template gallery and free-form template designer with own branding (logo, colors, fonts, payment QR)
- Automatic updates: the app downloads new versions in the background and installs them on the next quit
